Théo Fouchenneret: The Piano Virtuoso

Théo Fouchenneret, a name that resonates with virtuosity and passion in the world of classical music. From the outset, his sensitivity and poetry at the piano have captivated the ears of music lovers the world over. In November 2018, he won first prize at the prestigious Geneva International Music Competition, an early accolade for an exceptional musician.

A native of Nice, Théo was shaped by excellent teaching, first at his hometown's CRR under the tutelage of Christine Gastaud, then at the CNSM in Paris alongside such great masters as Alain Planès, Hortense Cartier-Bresson and Jean-Frédéric Neuburger. His brilliant career has been punctuated by successes, including winning the Gabriel Fauré International Piano Competition in 2013 and the Lyon International Chamber Music Competition in 2018 with the Messiaen Trio.

But for Théo, music isn't just about trophies. It's on stage that his art comes into its own. Prestigious venues such as the Fondation Louis Vuitton, the Opéra de Nice, the Philharmonie de Paris and the Bozar in Brussels have vibrated to the sound of his piano. His talent has been exported to the four corners of the globe, from Milan to Tokyo, via Munich and Rio de Janeiro.
