Born in 1992, Jean-Baptiste Doulcet is a pianist, improviser and composer. In 2019, he won the 4th Prize and Audience Prize at the Marguerite Long Competition, presided over by Martha Argerich, and the Modern Times Prize at the Clara Haskil Competition, with Christian Zacharias as President of the jury. Also winner (2nd Prize) of the 8th Nordic Piano Competition and a prizewinner of the Charles Oulmont Foundation, Jean-Baptiste Doulcet is considered by Classica magazine to be a rising star of French piano playing, following in the footsteps of Alexandre Kantorow and Jean-Paul Gasparian, and offers a vision, a conception, served by remarkable pianistic quality-touch, attacks, sense of rebound, accuracy of contrasts and silences (France tvinfo.fr).
Two years earlier, in 2019, he made his first 'live' recording of a Beethoven/Schumann recital (Label Les Spiriades), punctuated by improvisations of which he is particularly fond, before releasing a critically acclaimed CD of works by Liszt and Schumann under the title 'Un Monde Fantastique' (Mirare, 2022).
Jean-Baptiste Doulcet performs in France, notably in Paris (Salle Pleyel, Salle Gaveau, Salle Cortot), and takes part in all the major piano festivals: La Roque d'Anthéron, La Folle Journée, the Lisztomanias, Piano en Valois, Piano Jacobins and the Chopin Festival in Nohant. He appears on international stages, notably in Denmark (Aarhus Kammermusik, Copenhagen Summer Festival), Sweden (Glafsfjordens festival), USA, Germany, Italy and China.
An all-round musician, Jean-Baptiste Doulcet's career also flourishes in the chamber music repertoire with partners such as the Oistrakh String Quartet, Augustin Dumay, Alexandre Kantorow, Marc Coppey, the Quatuor Hermès, the Quatuor Arod, Fédor Roudine, the Quatuor Hanson, Aurélien Pascal and Raphaël Sévère.
As a composer, he has written no fewer than twenty works for solo instruments, chamber music or ensemble music, premiered by soloists Raphaël Pidoux and Alina Ibragimova. His Passion Trilogy for ensemble of twelve cellos, based on poems by Goethe, is published by Alfonce Productions.
Trained at the CNSMD in Paris with Claire Désert in piano and chamber music, Thierry Escaich and Jean-François Zygel in improvisation, he has also followed the advice of Emile Naoumoff, Dmitri Bashkirov, Hortense Cartier-Bresson, Epifanio Comis, Alexey Lebedev and Michel Béroff, and Julia Mustonen-Dahlkvist in Sweden, where he lived for 3 years. ensembles.
Ryan Wang, 16, from Vancouver, Canada, began playing the piano at the age of four and gave his first solo recital at the age of six. In 2013, he began his musical studies under the tutelage of Professor Lee Kum Sing and Dr. Sunsung Kong. He is currently studying on a music scholarship with Mr Gareth Owen at Eton College, UK, and received his Artist Diploma under Professor Marian Rybicki at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, France, in May 2024, being the youngest ever winner of the Prix Cortot.
Ryan pursues a busy concert career as a soloist and with orchestras worldwide, including Europe, Asia and North America. He has performed in many important and prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Fondation Louis Vuitton, Salle Cortot, the Ellen deGeneres Show, Fazioli Concert Hall, RTHK radio 4 (Hong Kong), CCTV 4 (China), CBC Music, live on FM96.3 Toronto's Radio Station at Zoomer Hall, and Radio Classique in France. He was invited to perform as part of the cultural component of Canada's participation in the APEC summit in Beijing in 2014, and was also invited to give a private recital at the home of Canadian Prime Minister Steven Harper. He has performed with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, the Toronto Festival Orchestra, the Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra, the West Coast Symphony Orchestra, the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra and many others.
Among the prizes he has won are the 2022 "SAMSON FRANCOIS" International Piano Competition, the 2023 Jeune Chopin International Piano Competition in Switzerland, the 2023 Cleveland International Piano Competition for Young Artists (senior group), the 18th Animato International Piano Competition in Paris Frédéric Chopin Edition in 2023, and the 2024 Bern Piano Prize. In 2017 and 2019, Ryan was awarded the Vancouver Academy of Music Emerging Artist Scholarship. In March 2023, at the age of 15, Ryan was the youngest musician to appear on UK radio station Classic FM's list of 30 brilliant Rising Stars, all under the age of 30. Ryan has also been included in the New Generation Piano 2022-2023 series with 3 other pianists (Bruce Liu, Alim Beisembayev, and Yunchan Lim) by the Louis Vuitton Foundation, and has been invited to give a solo recital in the Foundation's concert hall in Paris in 2023.
Over the coming seasons, Marie-Ange Nguci will perform with the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana, the Minnesota Orchestra, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the Macao Symphony Orchestra. She will return to perform with the Tonkünstler Orchestra under Fabio Luisi, the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI under Krzysztof Urbański and the Orchestre national de Lyon under Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider. She will be artist-in-residence with the Basel Symphony Orchestra for the 2023-2024 season, performing under Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla and Ivor Bolton; and will collaborate as associate artist alongside the Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini in Parma.
Among the highlights of recent seasons, Marie-Ange Nguci has been invited by major orchestras such as the NHK Symphony Orchestra, the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Mozarteumorchester Salzburg, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestre national de Belgique, Orchestre de Paris, Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, Orchestre National de Lyon, Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, Orchestres Nationaux de Lille, Bordeaux and Pau, working with conductors such as Paavo Järvi, Fabio Luisi, Petr Popelka, Dalia Stasevska, Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider, Pierre Bleuse, Kristiina Poska, Case Scaglione, James Feddeck, Mihhail Gerts and Robert Trevino.
She has performed in prestigious halls such as the Musikverein in Vienna, the Oncertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Suntory Hall in Tokyo, the Tonhalle in Zurich, the Sydney Opera House, the Oslo Opera House and the Philharmonie de Paris, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Auditorium de Radio France, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Teatro della Pergola in Florence, as well as the Festival International de Piano de La Roque d'Anthéron and the Festival de La Grange de Meslay.
Marie-Ange came to public attention in 2018 with the release of her first CD, En Miroir, on the Mirare label. The disc features piano works by composers better known as organists and improvisers - Franck, J.S. Bach, Saint-Saëns and Thierry Escaich. The recording was awarded the coveted Choc de Classica and warmly praised by the press.
Admitted to the Paris Conservatoire at the age of 13 in Nicholas Angelich's class, she studied conducting at the Musik und Kunst Universität in Vienna and was admitted at the age of 18 for a doctorate in music at the City University of New York. She also holds an MBA in cultural management.
Since his success at the Van Cliburn Competition in the eighties, Philippe Bianconi has had an international career and pursued his musical career, patiently ploughing his furrow far from any media hype.
He has been praised for his playing "always going to the heart of the music and filling the space with life and poetry" (Washington Post); "His lyricism and his loftiness of vision . . . Trained at the Nice Conservatory by Madame Delbert-Février, then in Paris under the aegis of Gaby Casadesus, Philippe Bianconi then deepened his knowledge of the German and Russian repertoires in Freiburg-im-Breisgau with Vitalij Margulis.
First Prize at the International Jeunesses Musicales Competition in Belgrade in 1977 and at the Robert Casadesus International Competition in Cleveland in 1981, he won the Silver Medal at the Van Cliburn International Competition in 1985.
His first major recital at Carnegie Hall in New York in 1987 was highly acclaimed. Since then, he has performed in the most renowned concert halls, both in America (Orchestra Hall in Chicago, Kennedy Center in Washington, Philadelphia, Boston, San Francisco, Houston, etc.), in Europe (Wigmore Hall in London, Berlin Philharmonic, Konzerthaus in Vienna, Milan, Madrid, Hamburg, etc.), as well as in Japan, China and Australia.
Philippe Bianconi has also been invited by prestigious orchestras: Cleveland Orchestra, Chicago Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonie, Pittsburgh Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, Orchestre de Paris, Orchestre National de France, Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester Berlin, Sydney Symphony ... under the direction of conductors such as Lorin Maazel, Kurt Masur, Christoph von Dohnanyi, Georges Prêtre, Michel Plasson, James Conlon, Marek Janowski, Gennadi Roshdestvensky, David Zinman, Yakov Kreizberg, Tugan Sokhiev....
He regularly collaborates with various French orchestras: Toulouse, Strasbourg, Lyon, Lille, Nice, as well as the Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra. Philippe Bianconi has also participated in numerous festivals: La Roque d'Anthéron, Piano aux Jacobins, Piano en Valois, the Prades Festival, the Folle Journée de Nantes, the Menton Festival, the Messiaen de la Meije Festival, the Berlioz Festival and the Ravinia Festival in the United States.
Passionate about chamber music, he has had as partners Jean-Pierre Rampai, Janos Starker, Pierre Amoyal, Gary Hoffman, Tedi Papavrami, Xavier Phillips, as well as many quartets: Sine Nomine, Guarneri String Quartet, Parisii, Talich, Modigliani, Hermès.
From 1983 to 1990, Philippe Bianconi had an exceptional experience: Hermann Prey, at the height of his immense career, enlisted the collaboration of the young pianist. They have given numerous concerts together and have recorded Schubert's three great Lieder cycles, La Belle Meunière, Le Voyage d'Hiver, Le Chant du Cygne at Denon's.
In 2012, his recording of Debussy's Preludes on the La Dolce Volta label was acclaimed by the press and the public, and earned him a nomination for the Victoires de la Musique Classique, the Grand Prix de l'Académie Charles Cros, and a Diapason d'Or de l'Année.
His collaboration with La Dolce Volta continued with a Chopin disc in 2014 and a Schumann disc in 2016.
Two albums have just been released in September 2020. One dedicated to Debussy's Etudes has just been released, again for La Dolce Volta, the other is a recording of a concert given in 2019 at the Printemps de Arts de Monaco and contains Brahms' two piano concertos, with the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Michal Nesterowicz.
From 2013 to 2017, Philippe Bianconi was the musical director of the American Conservatory of Fontainebleau (a French institution whose mission is to make French culture better known to foreign students in the combined fields of music and architecture), succeeding Philippe Entremont and Nadia Boulanger who trained the elite of American composers such as Aaron Copland, Elliot Carter, Virgil Thomson, Astor Piazzolla, Philip Glass, or Quincy Jones.
Since October 2018, Philippe Bianconi has been teaching at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris-Alfred Cortot.
Born in Japan in 1993 to a Japanese father and a French mother, Marcel Tadokoro began applying himself to the piano at the age of eight in Japan. After obtaining a master's degree from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, he entered the École Normale de Musique de Paris under the direction of Rena Shereshevskaya, where he is currently a student.
Winner of the John Giordano jury president's special prize at the "Van Cliburn" international competition in 2022, he is also a prizewinner in several international competitions: 3rd prize at the "Santander" international piano competition,
First prize and public prize at the "Lagny-sur-Marne" international piano competition, 2nd prize at the "Île de France" international piano competition, semi-finalist at the "Queen Elizabeth 2021" international competition, finalist at the "Montreal" international competition... . He has also performed in several countries: Tour in Japan, recital in France (Salle Molière, Nancyphonies, etc.), chamber music in Italy, concerto with the Ural Symphony Orchestra in Russia, concerts in Austria and Italy.
The interpretations of Rachel Breen, a 26-year-old American pianist, are "truly spectacular, with a beautiful sound and originality of detail" (Gramophone UK). A student of the late Lars Vogt at the Hannover Conservatory of Music, she had previously graduated from Yale University and the Julliard School under Boris Slutsky and Julian Martin respectively. Self-educated until the age of ten, she then received lessons from Sharon Mann at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
Rachel Breen already has an intense competition career behind her, having received first prizes at the Bösendorfer International Competition (2023), the Honens International Piano Competition (Calgary, Canada) (2022), the Palma d'Oro International Competition (2022), the Beethoven International Competition in Vienna (2021), the Livorno International Competition (2020), the Georges Cziffra International Competition (2019), the Gallinari International Competition (2019), the Premio Melini (2019) and the Concurso Internacional de Piano Compositores de España (2018).
She has also been selected as a Young Artist by the US National Federation of Music Clubs for 2021-23, and received the Kurt Alten Prize from her university in Germany. She has taken part in numerous masterclasses, and given some herself, in the USA as well as in Argentina, Canada, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Germany, Austria and Hungary. She appears in the 2021 podcast "30 Bach Artists" in a discussion and performance of the Goldberg Variations, alongside Jeremy Denk, Angela Hewitt, Tim Page and Simone Dinnerstein. Her most recent concert season included guest appearances at the Chautauqua Institute, the San Francisco International Piano Festival, Merkin Hall for IKIF, Osimo Piano Hours (Italy) and the Lilacs Series (NYC).
Apart from the piano, Rachel Breen is interested in foreign languages, having won 1st prize in a National Latin Examination and 3rd prize in the National French Examination. She spends her free time running, exploring philosophy and the visual arts, forgetting to answer important emails! She currently lives in Hannover, Germany.

Born in Havana, Jorge Gonzalez Buajasan first studied piano in Cuba before entering the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris in the class of Hortense Cartier-Bresson. In 2015, Jorge won 1st Prize and Audience Prize at the KlavierOlymp competition in Bad Kissingen. In 2019, he receives the Prix Coup de Cœur de la Jeune Critique at the Clara Haskil Competition. In 2021, he wins 1st Prize and 4 Special Prizes at the Lyon International Chamber Music Competition with violinist Manon Galy.
Jorge makes his Trio debut at Salle Pleyel as a prelude to the Orchestre de Paris. In 2015, he shares the stage at the Fondation Louis Vuitton with Boris Berezovsky. His distinctions at the KlavierOlymp in Bad Kissingen led to an invitation to perform as soloist with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Marseille under Lawrence Foster at the Kissinger Sommer Festival. This was followed by several recitals at the Beethovenfest in Bonn, at Munich's prestigious Herkulessaal in a recital broadcast by Bayerische Rundfunk radio, and again in Munich alongside Elisabeth Leonskaja for the "Stars and Rising Stars" Festival. Since then, he has been a regular guest at La Roque d'Anthéron, where he gave the closing concert alongside Renaud Capuçon and the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne in 2022, as well as at the Folles Journées de Tokyo, the Festival Piano Jacobins, the Gstaad Festival, and at the Easter Festival alongside the Dutilleux Quartet
Jorge performs as soloist in Riga with the Latvian National Orchestra under Vassily Sinaisky, with the Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra under Stanislav Kochanovsky, with the Orchestre National de France under Felix Mildenberger and with the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne alongside Renaud Capuçon.
Since 2018, Jorge Gonzalez Buajasan has formed the Trio Zeliha with violinist Manon Galy and cellist Maxime Quennesson. They have performed in recital at the Evian Festival's Grange au Lac, at La Roque d'Anthéron, in the Monte-Carlo Orchestra's Chamber Music season, at the Al Bustan Festival, at the Berlioz Festival, among others. The trio regularly performs Beethoven's Triple Concerto alongside orchestras such as the ONPL conducted by Gabor Takacs-Nagy, or recently on tour with the OCL and Renaud Capuçon, whom they count among their regular chamber music partners.
The Zeliha trio recorded its first CD with the Mirare label, released in November 2020. It has received praise from Alfred Brendel, Menahem Pressler, as well as 5 Diapasons, 5 Étoiles from Classica, and fine reviews in music magazines The Strad and Gramophone (voted Gramophone's January Editor's Choice). Jorge has also recorded an album with Manon Galy, a member of the same trio, which was voted Diapason d'Or of the year in 2023.
Jorge has been fortunate to receive guidance from such musical personalities as Jean-Frédéric Neuburger, Elisabeth Leonskaja, Menahem Pressler and Radu Lupu. He is currently supported by the Fondation Banque Populaire.
